Volunteer Details
When
Every Saturday · 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Arrive by 7:15 AM to get oriented before we begin.
Where
1770 22nd Street South, St. Petersburg
Tangerine Plaza — enter off 22nd Street South. Park where it says "Volunteer Parking."
Minors
Ages 8 and up welcome
Ages 8–12 must serve with a parent, guardian, or adult chaperone.
How You'll Serve
Volunteer Roles
No experience needed — we'll show you what to do. Just bring a willing heart.
Box Packing
Help sort and pack grocery boxes before distribution begins.
Car Line
Guide vehicles through the drive-through and load boxes into trunks.
Family Support
Welcome families, answer questions, and share resources.
Setup & Teardown
Arrive early or stay late to help set up and break down the event.

What Volunteers Are Saying
Sometimes the most unexpected experiences turn out to be the most meaningful. Yesterday, I was searching Facebook for a last-minute volunteer opportunity to help my daughter fulfill some of her Scout rank requirements. That's when I came across Positive Impact ST. PETE.
What I didn't expect was how much the experience would impact me. It wasn't just about distributing food. It was about the people, the kindness, and the genuine relationships that have been built. Watching the volunteers interact with one another, and even more importantly, seeing the connection they've formed with the people they serve was something truly special.
You could see that this wasn't simply a place where people showed up to receive food. There was a sense of community, familiarity, and caring.
What started as a way to help my daughter complete a requirement turned into a reminder of just how much good is happening right in our backyard. I went there expecting to give a few hours of my time, but I left feeling like I had gained so much more. I enjoyed the experience so much that I've decided to continue volunteering with Positive Impact.

Bring Your Team
Volunteer Groups
If you are registering a group of 10 or more volunteers, please have one designated group leader reserve your group's spots. When reserving your spots, please include:
- Organization or group name
- Number of volunteer spots requested
- Contact person's full name, email address, and phone number
A Positive Impact team member will provide you with a custom registration link for each of your group members.
